Life-Cycle Validation Rig

Endurance Testing Systems

Accelerated life-cycle endurance test rig for automotive ignition switches inside environmental climate chambers – testing over 100,000 (1 Lac) continuous cycles.

Project Overview

100,000 Cycles Automotive Environmental Testing

The Ignition Switch Endurance Testing System is an advanced qualification test rig designed and manufactured by Tri-Dot Solution. Automobile ignition switches endure thousands of rotations, key insertions, and electrical contact breaks across hot, cold, and humid climates.

This rig operates directly inside an Environmental Chamber, subjecting ignition switches to extreme temperature gradients (-40°C to +85°C) and relative humidity conditions while continuously simulating realistic key-turning motions with a precision servo/stepper actuator.

The system validates endurance for up to 1 Lac (100,000) continuous test cycles per component, automatically logging electrical contact resistance, voltage drop, and mechanical detent torque.
